S.A.D. 07: "Down Periscope"

I hope you all had a great Martin Luther King Junior day, and got some time to reflect.

I'd say more, but I'm still whooped from yesterday. And I've gotta get up early tomorrow... gonna go watch the Obama Inauguration projected on a big, outdoor screen at San Francisco's Civic Center Park. Holy history in the making, Batman!

Loving these colored pencil sketches! And yes, Golden Gate Park rules on the weekends...but watch out for those wobbly-riding toddlers that decide to take harsh turns right in front of you on JFK...just as scary sometimes.

Hey Grant... yeah, those toddlers learning how to ride a bike are the cutest. I try to give 'em a wide berth to avoid getting flipped off my bike by them, though.

And, D-Groff, I know your winter pains. I'm from Buffalo, dude. I did the snow & cold routine for 25 years. So Cali is a nice hiatus. Of course, I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it. Those Hoth-like conditions are just ingrained in me!

Sir Dave...
This, in concept alone, is astounding. Execution is pretty sweet, too.
