Look out & shout! I'm now accepting pre-orders for convention sketches, in anticipation of next week's San Diego Comic-Con & Tr!ckster conventions! 

I'll only be in San Diego on Friday through midday Saturday. We can make arrangements for you to pick up your finished artwork during the time I'm there, at the Tr!ckster space (www.trickstertrickster.com). I can also mail your art directly to your home, for a small shipping fee.

These were my convention sketches from last weekend's Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the our booth to get their art on! Big ups to the Nerd City crew for hosting myself & Jim Mahfood. And heaps of gratitude to the C2E2 organizers for putting on another fantastic convention. I'm looking forward to rocking it again in 2014!

C2E2 Convention Sketch Pre-Orders

With the Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) right around the corner, I’m now accepting pre-orders for convention sketches. Ordering your sketch ahead of time eliminates the worry of getting stuck at the end of my commissions list, or missing out on getting a sketch, altogether, simply because you’re only attending the show for one day, leaving early, etc....
I’ll be accepting sketch pre-orders up until Tuesday, April 23rd. Sketches are available in black & white or color, as well as in two sizes: 9x12” and 11x14”.

Your finished artwork will be ready for pick-up at the Nerd City booth (#967) in “The Block,” for the duration of C2E2. You can schedule a convenient time to drop by the booth for your art, via email. Contact me at hiredmeat@gmail.com for pricing info, order placement, questions, and all that jazz. Serious inquiries only, please. “If it breaks when it bends, you better not put it in!”

C2E2 Commissions!

I had a fantabulous time in Chicago during C2E2 weekend. Many thanks to my friends at Nerd City, for giving me a home at their booth and providing such fun company all weekend long.

And despite grappling with a post-convention nerd flu, upon my return, here are some shots of the drawings & paintings I created for a handful of friendly collectors!

Oh, and this last little guy was actually a doodle that was on my airplane seat, when I flew out of LAX. I don't know who did it or what character it exactly is. But game recognize game, whoever did this has my respect. It's not every day that you get cool, cat-in-a-hula-skirt-playing-ukelele seat graffiti!
