New Commissions + Comic-Con Pre-Order Info
I just whipped up these new commissioned pieces. The first one is everyone's favorite occult-adrenaline junkie, John Constantine, of Hellblazer fame. The second is Captain America, of course. I'm not sure if it's the sway of comic convention season or what, but something in the air has been bringing me some really fun commissioned work. Thanks to everyone who's been contacting me with requests and inquiries! You guys & girls are the bees knees!
In anticipation of being swamped during Comic-Con, I'll actually be taking advance commission orders. Original pieces ordered before the show will be completed here in my studio. Then folks can just pick up their paintings at my table in Artists Alley.
And for anyone unable to make it to Comic-Con in July, I'm more than happy to ship commissioned works anywhere in the world. Just hit me up at hiredmeat@gmail.com, and we can discuss subject matter, pricing, and all those sexy details.

New Wraparound Cover Art
Here's a sneak peek at the wraparound cover art for my new mini-comic. The cover piece is titled "Exodus 2009." It, more or less, illustrates my thoughts and feelings about relocating from San Francisco to Oakland, last year. The book itself is going to feature several auto-bio short stories, so I think the cover fits the theme.
I'll be premiering the mini-comic at next month's ginormous Comic-Con International in sunny San Diego, CA. Stay tuned for more updates and info regarding the convention and all the artsy goodies I'll have on hand.

R.A.W. Gallery Exhibit Friday Night in Oakland!
I'll be participating in my very first Oakland art event, this Friday night -- the R.A.W. Art Gallery Exhibit. This one-night show takes place at The Uptown and will include works from 10 Bay Area artists, including yours truly, Apex One, Anne Herrero and Oliver Black. This will be a rare opportunity to take an up close and personal look at my original artwork. And with 24 pieces on display, this will be the largest collection of my work shown in one Bay Area exhibition, to date!
The Uptown houses a beautifully big gallery space located just a block away from the Oakland Art Murmur, the city's ultra-hip First Friday gallery hop. So don't stay at home watching those Sex In The City reruns! Come out to enjoy R.A.W. and the other art happenings that will be exploding up and down Telegraph Ave, tomorrow night!
