"The Elephant Woman"

The above illustration was my contribution for Eat Your Art Out V: "Carnival After Dark," this past weekend. "The Elephant Woman" measures 11 x 14", and was painted in ink and watercolors on paper. It was inspired by a conversation about circus freaks that I had with funny-man, comic book & video artist, Nico Colaleo.

Many thanks to everyone who helped put this year's EYAO such a phenomenal success. And congrats to the Angel City Derby Girls for pulling off yet another amazing, art-fueled fundraiser.
